A short story of how my product line came about.

I was at a music event two years ago.  While waiting in line to get into the venue, a man in front of me got angry that the security guard told him that he could not bring his beer into the venue & that he had to get rid of it.  He had just got it & the cup was full to the top.  He put it on the ground right in front of me & stomped on it, forcing 24 oz of beer up & down my legs (as it was summer & I was wearing shorts) and all over my feet.  I was able to get to a bathroom about 10 minutes later, to wash the beer off my legs but it was too late.  About 20 minutes after I washed the beer off my legs I started to feel sick.  We ended up having to leave the even early.  This made me realize that your skin is your largest organ & you absorb into your body everything your skin comes in contact with.  I then started working on my own line of bath & beauty products.  This is how Gluten Free Spa was born.

Gluten Free Crepes

INGREDIENTS

1 cup gluten free all purpose flour mix (see below)

1 ½ cups milk

1 large egg

1 tsp olive oil

¼ tsp salt

6 tbs. Of your favourite jam

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine flour, milk, egg, oil and salt and mix until there are no more lumps.

Lightly grease crepe pan (or skillet)

Pour 1/8 cup of batter into the pan and move the pan until the entire bottom is covered.

Cook until the top looks dry. Flip and cook 30 seconds.

Turn crepe out onto paper towel.

Repeat with remaining batter.

Spread crepes with jam and roll.

Yield – 12 crepes

Notes: For special occasions, I add whipped cream before rolling.

Pan should be re-oiled before each crepe is cooked.

GLUTEN FREE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR MIX

1 cup rice flour

1 cup tapioca flour

1 cup cornstarch

1tsp potato flour (not potato starch)

You will want to mix up lots of this – it is a good substitute for wheat flour in most recipes.
