INGREDIENTS
1 cup bean flour mix
1/8 tsp xanthan gum
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tbs sugar
½ tsp salt
3 tbs margarine
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vinegar
DON’T FORGET TO CHECK YOUR INGREDIENTS FOR HIDDEN GLUTEN!!
Thoroughly mix all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Cut in margarine. When mixture is pea-sized lumps, make a well in the center.
Mix milk and vinegar and pour into the well.
Mix together and turn out onto a board floured with bean flour mix.
Knead several times (20-30)
Roll ¾ inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter. (If you don’t have one, you can use a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass. Or you can make square biscuits by cutting with a sharp knife)
Bake at 450°F for 12 minutes.
Makes 16 to 18 biscuits.
BEAN FLOUR MIX
2/3 cup garfava bean flour
1/3 cup sorghum flour
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup tapioca flour
THIS RECIPE IS FOR YOUR BREAD MAKER BUT I USE THE MIX ONLY SETTING AND BAKE IT IN MY CONVENTIONAL OVEN AT 350°F - 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups gluten free all purpose flour
2 ¼ tsp xanthan gum
3 tbs brown sugar
1 ½ tsp egg replacer
1 ½ tsp unflavoured gelatin
3 tbs almond meal
4 ½ tbs dry milk powder
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup grated carrot
2 ¼ tsp yeast
3 eggs
4 ½ tbs butter
¾ tsp vinegar
1 1/8 cups warm water
FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS THAT CAME WITH YOUR BREAD MAKER.
All Purpose Flour
1 cup rice flour
1 cup tapioca flour
1 cup cornstarch
1 tsp potato flour (not potato starch)
