Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil A Hit With Aunt Jayne!

Tropical Traditions provided me with a free sample of this product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose.  Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review or sponsor a product giveaway in return for the free product.

I am impressed with the added flavour and how easily I can substitute coconut oil for other oils and shortening.  Not only is the flavour of the food/beverage enhanced, but also I have noted a change in my skin.  It is not quite as blotchy.

My digestive system seems to be working better (And I thought I had already improved in that department since beginning my gluten free lifestyle!)

I made some corn bread (We always called them Johnny cakes) using coconut oil and they turned out moist and delicious. I got this recipes from a very long list of recipes on http://www.tropicaltraditions.com

I made some homemade cocoa (with marshmallows) and used the recipe on the tropical traditions web site. Delicious! That hint of coconut really makes a difference!

Yesterday, I made some of my ABC Blender bread and used coconut oil instead of olive oil. They were fabulous! (They make great hamburger buns as well)

In conclusion, I would like to say, if you have not tried coconut oil yet, go to Tropical Traditions and order some! You won’t be sorry! I have become a fan and plan to use Tropical Traditions coconut oil in most of my recipes from now on.
