Gluten Free Corn Tortillas


1 ½ cups GF all purpose flour mix

¾ tsp salt

1 ½ cups non GMO cornmeal

1 cup warm water

2 tsp baking powder


In a large bowl, stir together the flour and cornmeal.

Add baking powder and salt and mix well.

Sit in water to form a crumbly dough.

Work the dough with your hands until it holds together.

On a floured surface, knead the dough until smooth.

Divide into 10 to 12 pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball.

Cover lightly with cling wrap and let rest for about 15 minutes.

Flatten each ball by hand, then roll to an 8 to 10 inch disc.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Lightly grease the skillet and cook the tortillas, one at a time until golden.
