INGREDIENTS

Crust:

2 cups GF all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

¾ tsp baking soda

¼ cup butter

½ cup milk

1 egg

Filling:

¼ cup GF bread crumbs

½ cup milk

1lb lean ground beef

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

1 small onion, minced

1 egg

DIRECTIONS

Crust:

Mix flour, soda and salt together.

Cut in butter (I use a pastry blender)

Beat egg into milk and pour into flour mixture.

Mix well.

Knead dough several times.

Roll ½ the dough out onto waxed paper that has been lightly greased.

Turn rolled dough into a pie plate (glass works best)

Roll the other half and set aside.

Filling:

Mix bread crumbs and milk together and let sit for 10 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Place into a casserole dish and bake at 350ºF for about 30 minutes.

Pour filling into bottom crust and pack down tight.

Cover with top crust and fold over edges to seal.

Prick the top crust several times with a fork.

Bake at 350ºF for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
