“Baked” Beans

3 cups navy beans
1 lg onion, minced
4 tbs molasses
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp dry mustard powder
1 cup ketchup
1 tbs GF worchestershire sauce
¼ cup brown sugar

Soak the beans overnight in water.
In a large pot, simmer the beans in the same water you used to soak them.
Once beans are tender, drain them but keep the water.
Put the beans into the bottom of a slow cooker.
Sprinkle the minced onion over top.
In a saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil and pour over the beans.
Add enough of the reserved water to cover the beans.
Cover the slow cooker and turn on to low setting.
Allow to cook for about 6 hours, adding more of the reserved water as necessary.
Stir occasionally.
